FALCONEER Technologies LLC has commercialized its improved software product and service designed to identify reliability issues and provide cost saving opportunities while concurrently enhancing process and plant safety. Three new features have been incorporated into our product, FALCONEER™ IV. First, we have integrated our virtual statistical control charting (V-SPC) diagnostics with our sensor / process validation and fault analysis diagnostics. Second, our software can create validated soft or inferential sensors to enhance process & product quality monitoring and control. Third, FALCONEER™ IV can operate either as a standalone system or run as a web service with alarm and information screens as web clients capable of messaging to pagers, cell phones, etc. This flexibility allows it to be directly incorporated into most common distributed control systems. So our software now provides a cost-effective, integrated, control system-independent solution for monitoring and analyzing manufacturing process data in real time and providing intelligent alerts, validation and recommendations back to the operators and engineers.
How does FALCONEER™ IV work?
This technology uses a patented methodology for performing automated process sensor validation and fault analysis. All that is required by this program are easily derivable models and heuristics of normal process operation. Our FALCONEER™ IV software engine then automatically creates and maintains all of the diagnostic patterns and rules necessary to perform its analysis on-line and in real time. It generates in real time intelligent alerts to the process operators whenever conditions warrant it, maximizing the time available to them to correct the underlying situation or intercede. It identifies when the process is running optimally and under control, reducing costs associated with process inefficiencies, downtime, and product reject. Finally, it assures proper sensor information and process conditions in real-time, allowing for preventative maintenance, validation, and regulatory compliance cost savings.
